Easter – The Time of Rebirth!

Back to Blog

Although Easter may be the most significant holiday for Christians, representing the resurrection of Christ, it is also widely celebrated by families regardless of their religious beliefs with Easter Bunnies and Easter egg hunts. What do bunnies and eggs have to do with the resurrection of Christ, you may ask?

The Easter Bunny may have pagan roots. Springtime represents a renewal of life and the goddess of dawn and fertility, Eostre. Bunnies and eggs are both representatives of fertility. Although rabbits give birth to litters of babies, on Easter, we tell children that the Easter Bunny lays, decorates, and then hides eggs for good children to find.

So as we celebrate Easter, and perhaps decorate and hide eggs or buy chocolate bunnies and eggs for our children, grandchildren, or ourselves, consider what in your life could use a fresh start? Are there professional or personal projects that you took on in the new year that could use a resurrection? What would you like to put new life into, given the opportunity?

We’re often great at coming up with ideas and goals, but how effective are we when it comes to the implementation? Do you let your dreams and goals wither and die before getting them launched? Or do you define the goal and start to implement, only to lose motivation or get sidetracked by other things that seem more enticing? Do you have competing priorities and feel like you’re never able to bring your top goals to fruition?

If you’re ready to breathe new life into your goals and actually fulfill them, check out my on-demand course, Turning Goals Into Gold. Leverage a complete science-backed system with the support and accountability of a coach, to finally turn your goals into gold!
